DS1/T1
DS1 (T1) has become a standard in most businesses today. DS1 service provides the two-way transmission of 1.544 Megabits per second (Mbps) digital signals from one location to another. This means your company can receive and send out heavy volumes of data to a remote location much more quickly. DS1 can be incorporated into copper wires, fiber-optic cable, or other mediums depending upon suitability and your preferences. This service can be provided between any two locations that you desire.

Metro Ethernet
IdeaOne Telecom's facilities include a 10 GB fiber ring providing a secure Ethernet/IP access solution for customers in the Fargo / Moorhead / West Fargo metropolitan area

DS3
This option is similar to DS1 service but provides greater volume capability. DS3 service provides for the two-way transmission of 44.736 Mbps digital signals from one point to another. Consider this option for high-volume data transmission between a central office and branch office or between two central offices.

OC-x
The Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) includes a set of signal rate multiples for transmitting digital signals on optical fiber. Planned rates include OC-3 (155.2 Mbps), OC-12 (622.08 Mbps), and OC-48 (2.488 Gbps).

ISDN
Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is a technology which allows you to transmit multiple communications channels over the same copper wires that are used for your telephone connection. SONET-based facilities provide redundancy, allowing for the simultaneous transmission of voice, data and video on the same line.

Basic Rate Interface (BRI) ISDN brings you two B (64Kbps) channels and one D (16 Kbps) channel. BRI uses the existing copper local loop facilities. Also available, Primary Rate Interface (PRI) is similar to a four-wire DS1(T1) and has 23 Bearer Channels (54 Kbps) and one "D" or Delta Channel (64 Kbps) for a total bandwidth of 1.544 Mbps.
