Open Outlook and go to Tools -> E-Mail Accounts.
- Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and then click Next.

Select your E-mail Account then choose Change.
- Change the following information:
User Name: Enter your complete Ideaone e-mail address.
Password: The default password is your Account number and either nd or mn for the state you are in. - Click on the Outgoing Server tab. Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication." Click OK.
- Click Finish to complete the setup.
Congratulations! You have updated your settings.
A password example would be something like this: 999999nd
Leave "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" unchecked and click "More Settings".
