Each user is allocated 20MB of storage space on our server to keep our mail server healthy and efficient. Ideaone Telecom's mail server does not send or receive messages greater than 10MB in size. If you have the need to send or receive large files we recommend a FTP server instead.

Spam
Ideaone Telecom does not tolerate unsolicited bulk email or unsolicited commercial email sent to our users. "Spam" places an unnecessary load on our mail server and can potentially cause our email server to be blocked from sending mail to other mail servers. Also, it is generally not desired by most users. For these reasons, we choose several solutions to prevent unwanted spam from reaching your mailbox.

First, we only allow Ideaone Telecom users on our own network to use our servers to send mail. If you are traveling and have the need to send mail but don't have access to your local providers mail server, we recommend using our webmail solutions.

We also do not allow other mail servers to directly connect to ours. We traffic all of our email through a forwarding agent.

Customers have the option for an additional fee to subscribe to our spam filtering service. This gives users the ability to monitor their own mail and decide for themselves what is considered "good" and "bad" email.
